Thanks to a grant from Norfolk County Council repairs to the bus shelter on Cuckoofield Lane, oppsite the Co-Op, should take place on Wed and Thurs (3 and 4 Sept). This work is weather dependent so we are hoping it goes ahead.
While the work is taking place, the bus stop will be moved a few metres along the road. This will be clearly signposted.
Once the roof has been repaired we will be looking for volunteers to paint the inside of the shelter. If you can help please email clerk@mulbarton-pc.gov.uk
August 2025
On Thursday 28th August, South Norfolk Council’s contractors will be excavating the village pond ‘Todds Pond’. The work is essential for the ongoing health of the pond and we hope that, in future, it will enable the pond to hold water all-year-through. We acknowledge that such works can have quite a negative effect on the appearance of a pond with it looking muddy and messy. However, this will soon recover as the vegetation regrows. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact South Norfolk Council via CommunityAssets@southnorfolkandbroadland.gov.uk
