The Meadows play equipment and pump track

Great news! Our grant application to the Hornsea 3 Community Fund has been provisionally approved and we have been offered £24,216 towards the pump track at The Meadows. Many thanks to GrantScape and Ørsted.

We appreciate all those who came along to our meeting on 19 May and took part in the discussions about the proposed new play equipment and pump track.
This is something the council would like to move forward with but we will need your help with promoting the project and fundraising. We have created a Go Fund Me page and donations can be given by clicking on the link or by the QR code below.
See our play area project page for more information.

Bus shelter on Cuckoofield Lane
Thanks to a grant from Norfolk County Council repairs to the bus shelter on Cuckoofield Lane, oppsite the Co-Op, should take place on Wed and Thurs (3 and 4 Sept). This work is weather dependent so we are hoping it goes ahead.
While the work is taking place, the bus stop will be moved a few metres along the road. This will be clearly signposted.
Once the roof has been repaired we will be looking for volunteers to paint the inside of the shelter. If you can help please email clerk@mulbarton-pc.gov.uk
There is a lot happening at your Parish Council, read our latest newsletter to find out more.

We have vacancies for Parish Councillors. If you can spare a few hours most weeks for this voluntary role and would like to find out more, read our co-option policy and contact the clerk.
